Wild Earth Mama
Sumayya Allen, founder and owner of Wild Earth Mama based in Decatur, GA, makes magic with her dressed aromatherapy candles and body products. She is an alchemist, merging science and spiritualism in her aromatherapy products and yoga teachings. With her offerings, she turns the everyday into extra intentional.
Wild Earth Mama, founded in 2019, has since flourished and expanded. From the original line of essential oil candles dressed with crystals, dried herbs, and flowers came tea lights, massage oils, body butters, and body/linen sprays. Wild Earth Mama products are made with high-quality natural ingredients and infused with Reiki. You’ll feel the love.
Sumayya began teaching yoga in 2017, when she completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training in Athletic Power Yoga at Hotlanta Yoga. She has since had the honor of teaching out of several yoga studios in the Atlanta area. She has co-taught teacher trainings, hosted arm balance and inversion workshops, and led yoga retreats. Her yoga classes are characterized by intention, creativity, playfulness, and challenge. Sumayya currently teaches in-studio at Element Yoga in Brookhaven.
With a background in ecological farming, Sumayya holds a deep reverence for the earth. She brings the art of healing into everything she does. Whether that is crafting deliciously intentional hand poured aromatherapy candles and body products, or teaching embodied yoga to her beloved students. She infuses the elements of balance, intention, and resiliency in her work as a healer, a teacher, and a maker.
